Positive Intelligence Workshop: Move Past Patterns that Keep You Down

June 16, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
With Life and Mental Fitness Coach Wendy Reed

Do you ever get the feeling you’re getting in your own way of having better relationships? Working at your best? Feeling better about “life” and the circumstances you find yourself in?

If you’re like most of us, you actually are unwittingly creating roadblocks and living from familiar old reactive patterns.

In this 90-Minute interactive workshop, life and mental fitness coach Wendy Reed will introduce you to a 3-part operating system called Positive Intelligence, designed to help you access the parts of your brain that help you thrive vs. just survive.

You will learn:

  • The #1 joy-sucking saboteur and top cause of mental suffering
  • Micro-exercises to shift out of a negative mental space
  • The 3-step Positive Intelligence formula

When life throws us curveballs and stressful situations, few of us have life training we can call upon to find our inner calm, access our best self and show up to a tough challenge with laser focus, unencumbered by that inner voice screaming something like, “This is BAD. I just CAN’T. I’ll NEVER be able to get past this.”

In reality, we can be trained to meet our challenging moments with a Jedi-like mindset. And it can start with small personal insights and mental fitness exercises that build new neural pathways in our brain and connect us to our better selves. That connect us to parts of our brain that don’t run on fear, but rather on qualities like empathy, curiosity, creativity, purpose, and big picture perspective.

Also referred to as mental fitness or “PQ,” Positive Intelligence is a research-based framework designed to build your capacity to step into a positive mental mindset more often than a negative one, despite what’s going on around you.

Whether you’re a personal growth junkie, brain science geek or “normal” human being aspiring for more or better and getting in your own way more than you’d like, there’s something here for you.

Wendy Reed, CPCC

Wendy is a certified life and mental fitness coach who works with private clients to help them develop the insight and mental muscles needed to identify and overcome obstacles holding them back — at work, school, home, and in relationships.

Wendy worked for many years on national behavior change campaigns designed to further the “greater good,” and now does the same on a more personal level. She works mostly with adults and more recently younger people who struggle to find the confidence or motivation to act on what they want, and who want to show up more often, for themselves and others, at their best.
