Green Drinks DC Happy Hour with Little Wild Things City Farm at The Pub & The People!!
Green Drinks DC November Happy Hour!
Green Drinks DC will be hosting our November happy hour with Little Wild Things City Farm. Expect an evening of delicious brews and cocktails, tours of a super-sustainable underground farm, and lots of amazing people to network with! They may grow micro-greens, but they make a BIG impression!
Little Wild Things City Farm is located under The Pub & The People, and The Pub is so kind, they are offering happy hour specials for our event. If you have never been the The Pub & The People before, this is your chance to get the most out of your visit.

Little Wild Things City Farm
Little Wild Things City Farm is an urban micro-farm that produces soil-grown micro-greens, salad greens, and edible flowers on less than one-quarter acre in the heart of Washington, D.C. We believe that environmentally sustainable, commercially viable farming is possible in urban landscapes—and we’re proving it. As a first generation farm, we combine the best of time-honored, organic growing techniques with new innovations and a disciplined business focus to achieve high yields from our very small growing spaces. Find out more about us at: http://www.littlewildthingsfarm.com/
If you take any AMAZING pictures of their fantastic space, or the event make sure to put them on instagram and tag @DCGreenDrinksand @littlewildthingsfarm!

The Pub & The People
Voted Best New Bar by the Washington City Paper, The Pub & The People was opened by an environmental lawyer and a LEED AP architect and solar engineer, revitalizing a long-vacant space at North Capitol and R St NW. The bar itself was built with repurposed wood from the ceiling beams. For the past year, we have shared our basement space with Little Wild Things City Farm, which grows delicious micro-greens that make appearances all over Chef Ben’s amazing menu. And within the year we will be producing our own green power by partnering with New Columbia Solar, making The Pub one of the most energy-efficient restaurants in the city. We are all about being green and want to share that with you in our new sustainable cocktails, garnished with basil, mint and rosemary grown on our very own patio. Check out the viney hops on our patio too and our website:Â http://www.thepubandthepeople.com/
